Josip Kotlar is Associate Professor of Strategy and Family Business at the School of Management of Politecnico di Milano. Before joining Politecnico di Milano, he was Associate Professor at the Lancaster University Management School (UK). His research experience is at the intersection of strategy, entrepreneurship and innovation. On these topics, he has published several articles in leading academic journals including Academy of Management Journal, Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of Product Innovation Management, Academy of Management Perspectives, Small Business Economics and Family Business Review. His research won several awards, and he holds leadership appointments in prestigious international journals and research associations. He has a track-record of projects helping small and large companies to develop purpose-full strategies that create value for their stakeholders.
